KiddFuture.com’s “Bellachic & Fairchild’s”- The Breathes Of Fresh Air: SAG Awards

It is Award Season in Tinseltown, and given the fashion performances last week, I would say things are off to a good start, but everyone only has one toe in the water. This coming weekend are the SAG Awards, and then we take a break from the couture and actors at the Grammy’s. Next are the Oscar’s then the Emmy’s, and that’s not including all the less regimented shows in between. In short, there are many opportunities for fashion faux pas left in this calendar year. This is our list of people whom, although not listed on any of the best dressed lists this year, we think you should keep an eye on. Hit the jump for tonights edition

Amber Riley

(LMAA’s 2010, Emmy’s 2010, Golden Globes 2011)

There is always a danger, when you are a big girl, of looking busty in everything. Miss Amber is, clearly, very aware of this and avoids anything low cut at all costs. This does not mean that she sacrifices a smidge of glitz or elegance: she actually does quite the opposite, and we are very hopeful that she will be looking her best at the SAG awards.

Anna Kendrick

(SAG Awards 2010, Golden Globes 2010, Oscar’s 2010)

(Eclipse Premiere 2010, GQ Men of the Year 2010, MTV Movie Awards 2010)

Anna Kendrick had a busy Award Season last year thanks to her multiple nominations for her role in Up in the Air.  With these honors, came a big responsibility to look absolutely elegant, which she pulled off wonderfully! Then, she turned to sexy, short, fabulous dresses for her less formal engagements. No matter what she wore, she looked age appropriate and gorgeous.

Corey Monteith

(Hollywood Style Awards 2010, Kids’ Choice Awards 2010, Teen Choice Awards 2010)

Whether it’s the Kid’s Choice Awards or the Style Awards, Monteith is always looking stylish. From a trendy bomber jacket to a classic tuxedo, Corey Monteith successfully adds a little pop to every outfit, making it stand out just enough.

Dianna Agron

(Golden Globes 2010, Breakthrough of the Year Awards 2010, Emmy Awards 2010, Audi Cocktail Party 2010, TV Land Awards 2010)

Dianna’s beauty is complicated: it is girl next door without looking ordinary and she oozes old Hollywood charm. These traits are also reflected in her style: everything she wears has a classic element while still being young and fresh. And if that wasn’t enough, she looks pretty damn good in cheerleading uniform and a pregnancy pad!

Emma Watson

(Met Costume Institute Gala 2010, Half-Blood Prince Premiere 2009, Street of NYC 2010, Deathly Hollow Premiere 2010)

Too many times do we pick up a paper or magazine and see what “the business” is doing to some girls: drugs, eating disorders, boozing, clubbing, and suicide are common themes. But this one has morphed from frizzy-haired little girl, to blossoming teen, to classy young lady, and she has the fashion sense to prove it. No sweatpants, couldn’t careless buns, or Uggs for this college girl (and thank God for that!)

Kristen Stewart

(Eclipse Premiere in NYC 2010, MTV Movie Awards 2010, Eclipse Premiere in Rome 2010)

(Adventureland Premiere in Hollywood, Spike TV’s Scream Awards 2010, Elle Style Awards 2010)

Kristen always looks gorgeous, effortless, and confident, but when she opens her mouth, she reveals her dirty little secret: she is as insecure as the rest of us, and that is what I love about her! As a lady with long, thin legs and knobby knees, I love that Kristen never misses an opportunity to show them off.

But, my favorite fashion move she made in 2010 was this:

While not sporting her signature mini, she remained as true to herself as possible in a full-length gown.

Her makeup was minimal, her hair pulled casually up off her face. No earrings, no flashy necklace, a tiny tennis bracelet, and no rings.

To top it all off: no manicure!

Taylor Lautner

(Eclipse Premiere in 2010, Oscars 2010, Teen Choice Awards 2010, Kids’ Choice Awards 2010, GQ Men of the Year 2010)

The words sleek, sizzling and sharp define this young star! GQ Men of the Year was no exception and as the 2011 SAG Awards approach, you can be certain we will be on the lookout for Taylor Lautner and his choice of attire.

Zac Efron

(Critic’s Choice Awards 2010, Golden Globes 2011, Oscar’s 2010, People’s Choice Awards 2011)

For a guy as good looking as Zac Efron is, he seems to stay on the safe side as far as bringing it to the red carpet. Come on boy…with those looks, you should be able to pull off anything! Well, almost anything. We’ll see if he can make the cut when it comes to Best Dressed Male at the upcoming SAG Awards.

We are hoping the ladies of Glee are as clever in their dress selection next week as they were last year: when it came time to take their photo together for their win for Best Ensemble in a Comedy, the room was rainbows and smiles quite literally!

Until the SAG Awards!
