Kurt Cobain’s Anti-MTV Letter Hits The Auction Block

Cobain has plenty of writings and doodlings, but his single-page handwritten letter speaking out against MTV, may be worth more then you think. The Nirvana frontman felt very strongly about the monopoly had on music listenership. The letter written on lined notebook paper reads, “Dear Empty TV the entity of all Corporate GODS We will survive without you easily – – the oldschool is going  DOWN FAST my lifes Dedication is Now to Do Nothing But SLAG something Kurdt Kobaineee professional Rock musician.”  Although the letter isn’t dated numerous sources have authenticated it. The letter is up for auction at Julien’s “Legends” auction, with numerous other Cobain writings as well as items from Bruce Springsteen, Michael Jackson, The Beatles, Pink Floyd and others.
