Nike SB Zoom Paul Rodriguez IV “Akuma” Street Fighter Edition

After the release of the Nike “Chun Li and Ryu” dunk editions, Nike has unveiled the “Akuma” P.Rod IV’s. The shoe has a blue canvas with an accented bright “Akumu” logo on the back upper heal. Like the first editions the shoe has a character drawing in the inner sole. Check out a few more images below for more detail.

Nike SB Paul Rodriguez 4 Hi Black/Matte Silver

It looks as if skateboard shoes have taken a fashion turn. The P. Rod 4’s have a new sleek look to them, featuring a black leather siding with a lower touch of white to add life to the sneaker. Some may question the design and complain it looks to much like a basketball shoe but I just think the P. Rod’s are a more fashionable for on and off the board. Hit the jump for more images

Nike SB – Zoom Paul Rodriguez 4 Commercial featuring NAS

Nike brought P. Rod to hit the streets of New York as well as spend time with one of his idols, hip-hop legend NAS. The outcome was a minute long commercial directed by Nike SB’s Jon Humphries. The video portrays Paul’s journey through iconic New York City skate spots, accompanied by music and a voiceover from Nas. Nike SB is proud to announce the global launch of the Zoom Paul Rodriguez 4 on August 21st. Hit the jump for some behind the scenes looks into the project.

Green Label Art “The Collaboration”- Paul Rodriguez and Don Pendleton

Check some behind the scenes look at the Green Label Art collaboration between Paul Rodriguez and Don Pendleton. The duo created a signature can for Mountain Dew, which ended up inspiring 35 skate shops within the United States to create their own version of the Mountain Dew can. Also providing a local artist of their choice to provide the artwork. The winning entry will find itself in stores sometime in 2011 as an official Mountain Dew can for the new year.
